Welcome to Mountainwest Serama. If you are interested in the smallest breed of bantam chicken then you found the right place. I am located in American Fork which is 35 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah and have a great selection of serama mini-bantams. Owning these birds can be a fun and rewarding experience. In malaysia the serama has become one of the most common household pets. Thanks to Jerry Schexnayder and KJ Theodore who imported this breed to the United States in 2001, we can now enjoy them in North America as they continue to gain popularity.
Please visit other pages and links found on this website to learn more about the Malaysian Serama, more appropriately known as the American Serama in North America. It is our mission to further promote the serama breed by continuing to improve their beauty, quality, health, vigor and share these goals with other serama enthusiasts
If you like what you see while browsing these pages and are interested in owning some of these birds, I am happy to help you get started. Please check the availablility page for serama I currently have and also visit pages that will direct you to additional flock owners and breeders I associate with. It is my desire for your success in obtaining and raising your own flock as we continue to introduce more enthusiasts to this breed Personal Request: The photos you find in this website were taken by myself and are of my own birds. I also enjoy photography and take pride in my photos. Please be considerate and not copy or use my photos in your own websites or personal projects without contacting me beforehand for permission which I will most probably grant under certain conditions.
